It is with the deepest sadness that we share with you that Michael Cash, our founder and CEO, passed away on December 20, 2024. Michael was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer in August 2024. He bravely endured four rounds of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, with the express wish to be able to continue raising money to support veterans and first responders. When complications arose, it was a small mercy that Michael’s transition was swift, painless, and in the company of his loved ones.
It is our profound honor to preserve Michael’s legacy through the continuance of Operation Family Fund. His patriotism, commitment to veterans, compassion for those suffering from post-traumatic stress, and love of country will forever be our north star. His mission is ours to finish, as we honor his legacy and cherish his memory.
